Varian Medical Systems Schedules Mid-Year Review with Investors in New York

PALO ALTO, Calif., March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) announced today that its management will hold a mid-year review for investors from 11:30 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. on May 14, 2013 at Grand Hyatt New York, Park Avenue at Grand Central, New York. Management presentations will cover financial performance through the first half of fiscal year 2013, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities in markets for oncology systems, x-ray imaging, and security and inspection.
