Varian Medical Systems and Infor to Add New Data Integration Capability within Varian Software Suite for Planning, Managing, and Delivering Cancer Care

NEW YORK and PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR), the world's leading manufacturer of medical devices and software for treating cancer, and Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 73,000 customers, today announced a strategic alliance to add new data management capabilities across Varian's software products for enhanced security, interoperability and performance.

Varian will deploy the Infor Cloverleaf Integration and Information Exchange Suite® to streamline the exchange of healthcare data across the care continuum in order to help healthcare professionals amass usable outcomes data and work toward improving quality of care.
