In 2017, Varian’s HyperArc™ high-definition radiotherapy was used for the first time to treat patients with brain metastases. This new technology for delivering noncoplanar stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) has been deployed at Sacro Cuore Don Calabria Cancer Care Center in Negrar, near Verona, Italy; University of Alabama at Birmingham in the U.S.A..; and at The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Center in Glasgow, U.K. Read more
