Introduction to AURA (ARIA Unified Reports Application)

This remote session, “Introduction to AURA Reports” will be approximately 1 hour in length. The AURA solution uses MS SQL Server for report generation and replaces the Report Manager application/workspace within ARIA. AURA becomes available to customers with ARIA version 13.0 and higher. Staff who need to run reports and/or are required to make minor edits to existing reports will benefit from attending this workshop. Upon the completion of this workshop, trainees will gain the knowledge on how to access and launch AURA reports within ARIA, how to assign user rights to staff, how to perform minor edits and how to save, create favorites and publish modified reports. If multiple staff are attending from one location, only one individual needs to register. Meeting Requirements: Phone connection/teleconference line (for multiple attendees) and an internet connection. • Basic Content – Approximately 45-50 minutes • Reporting as a solution in ARIA - 3 minutes • Accessing Reports (Integration with Aria Applications) – 2 minutes • Rights & OSP – 3 minutes • Launching AURA & GUI – 3 minutes • Search, Favorite and other functions - 3 minutes • How to run report, and parameters – 5 minutes • Functions such as sort, filter, print, export – 5 minutes • Perform Minor Edits (If time permits) -5 minutes • Save and Publish Report to ARIA – 5 minutes • Documentation to Assist/Support Guidelines – 5 minutes Log into your MyVarian/Learning Management Systems account to Register. Approximately 3 days prior to the session you will receive a separate email invite of which you will need to accept to confirm your attendance. For the meeting, you will need to have a phone connection/teleconference line (For multiple attendees) and an Internet connection.

RapidPlan® knowledge-based planning is helping clinicians around the world achieve greater consistency, efficiency, and quality in radiotherapy treatment planning. This three-day hands-on course enables participants to implement RapidPlan and make it part of the clinical routine. The training is designed to enable users to be competent and confident in using RapidPlan functionality within the Eclipse™ treatment planning system. Users will be provided the knowledge to help them gain mastery of knowledge-based planning concepts as well as experience using and creating DVH estimation models, including the ability to verify and validate models. Users will learn and practice strategies for leveraging Varian-provided and other shared models for a quick ramp-up with RapidPlan. This three-day hands-on course enables participants to implement RapidPlan and make it part of the clinical routine. The training is designed to ensure that users become competent and confident in using RapidPlan functionality within the Eclipse™ treatment planning system. This course provides training for Radiation Therapists responsible for the operation of the TrueBeam, providing an overview of the TrueBeam system, hands-on training to include: system components, shutdown procedure, startup with basic morning QA procedures, startup after an emergency shutdown and power failure, basic administrative information and treatment and imaging scenarios to include: basic 2D and 2D-2D imaging, treatment with automation, LaserGuard II and Machine Protection, imaging and treatment with custom blocks, Cone-Beam CT , gated imaging and treatment with intra-fraction motion review, auto-beam hold and emergency treatment.

Application has been made to CAMPEP for MPCEC credits. This course provides training for Medical Physicists responsible for commissioning and administration of the TrueBeam machine. The course consists of combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises carried out in a lab equipped with fully functioning TrueBeam system. The course provides an overview of TrueBeam hardware, software and control system. The student will have reviewed administrative settings configurable in the system software. Creation of user account and system related user rights, reviewed all user-responsibility system calibrations, including absolute dose and imaging system calibrations and demonstration of common IGRT, Motion Management and treatment plan delivery techniques. This “delta” course is designed to fill that gap for experienced TrueBeam users. It is especially appropriate for physicists who will be working with an upgraded system. The goal of the course is to increase your knowledge of the treatment options and provide a deeper dive into the latest features supported on the TrueBeam Platform, as well as advanced imaging modalities, including advanced reconstruction options. Considerable attention is paid to the various clinical operations that your team may be planning to implement, i.e. complex delivery techniques such as image-guided SBRT, auto beam hold, triggered, On demand imaging, Respiratory Gating and Advanced reconstruction options. The course also delves into features like Machine Performance Check.
