Named a 2017 Category Leader for Oncology Treatment Planning software, Eclipse software is in use at some 3,400 cancer treatment centers around the world. Eclipse incorporates unique features such as RapidPlan™ knowledge-based planning, which makes it possible to use historical treatment plan data to increase plan quality and streamline the treatment planning process.
According to the 2017 Best in KLAS report, Eclipse scored above average in key areas, including: Sales and Contracting, Implementation & Training, Functionality & Upgrades, and Service & Support.
In comments posted on KLASresearch.com*, a director/physician who uses Eclipse said: "Eclipse is rock solid all around. It is very functional for our physicists, and it integrates well with our equipment. It is easy to support, and the Varian team is great to work with when it comes to treatment planning. I feel like things are always advancing."
"We are honored once again to have Eclipse recognized as a Category Leader by KLAS," said Kolleen Kennedy, president of Varian's Oncology Systems business. "The Varian team spends countless hours working closely with oncology clinicians around the world to understand their changing needs so we can enhance the Eclipse software and continue providing best-in-class tools for fighting cancer."
