Image Guided Radiation Therapy provides new tools for external therapy treatments. TrueBeam or the On-Board Imager® and the Varian‘s respiratory gating systems are essential components. The school provides a general overview, clinical workflows and use of the imaging and gating systems, covering all different modes of operation. The focus of the course is on clinical cases, where IGRT provides a clinical benefit for the patient. Use of the Varian gating systems at the CT scanner and linear accelerator is included as part of the course. The school also provides practical hands-on training using the latest models of TrueBeam, Clinac®, OBI, Varian Gating systems, Eclipse™ TPS and ARIA™ Oncology Information System.
