Sandeep Bagla, M.D.
Sandeep Bagla, MD, is Chair of Interventional Radiology & Clinical Research, Vascular Interventional Partners NOVA & Prostate Centers USA. Dr. Bagla has received numerous research grant awards to study the effects of minimally invasive therapies on widely prevalent diseases. He has served as the principal investigator for multiple clinical trials on treatments from cryoablation to ultrasound accelerated thrombolysis therapy. He pioneered the development of many novel procedures, including prostate artery embolization for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and geniculate artery embolization in the setting of osteoarthritis.

Joseph Steele, MD, FSIR
Chief Medical Officer at Varian Medical Systems for the company’s Interventional Solutions business. Prior to joining Varian, Dr. Steele served as Professor of Interventional Radiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, with research interests in quality, patient safety and health care delivery. Dr. Steele also has considerable experience as a medical device company executive and entrepreneur, having held leadership positions in publicly traded medical device companies and served as CMO or advisor for several early-stage device companies and healthcare start-ups.
