Varian Medical Systems Schedules Investor Day for June 21, 2016

PALO ALTO, Calif., April 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) announced today it will host an investor day at its headquarters here on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.  The company's corporate and business management will discuss global growth strategies in its Oncology Systems, Imaging Components and Particle Therapy businesses.  Presentations will focus on emerging technologies, product portfolios, and market trends that will support the expansion of Varian's businesses.

"Investors are invited to mark their calendars and meet with Varian's extended  management team for an in-depth look at our businesses and their prospects for long-term growth in global markets," said Spencer Sias, vice president of investor relations and corporate communications for Varian Medical Systems.
