Ashley Smith | Varian

Ashley Smith serves as President of Digital Oncology, leading the development of Varian's integrated oncology software ecosystem. She oversees ARIA CORE oncology management system, Eclipse treatment planning system, Noona patient engagement platform, InSightive analytics, in addition to interoperability solutions.

Over the course of her 18-year career at Varian, Ashley has held various roles in commercial software sales leadership across North America. In 2017, she took on an international assignment in Sydney, Australia, to lead the Varian Australasia sales organization. Upon her return to the U.S. in 2019, Ashley transitioned from her commercial role to a global R&D position, leading the Varian Oncology Information System (OIS) suite of products. In this leadership role, she played a key part in building out the company's technology-enabled solutions and laying the foundation for further integration across the portfolio.

Prior to joining Varian, Ashley was the co-founder and President of Oncology Plus, a chemotherapy compounding pharmacy serving the Southeastern United States, which she sold to a multinational group in 2015. Ashley studied biology and chemistry at Florida State University and the University of South Florida and holds a master’s degree in organizational management.
