Warranty/Returns Information for PaxScan Digital Radiography Products

Varian Medical Systems is continually making improvements to the Varian Imaging Products business system. To enable us to reduce the turn-around time in processing returns of PaxScan digital X-ray image detectors, we request that you gather data and images prior to returning the panel. We now require receipt of VIVA images depicting the fault prior to issuance of the RMA (return materials authorization) number.

Please e-mail images to the following locations or post them to the Varian FTP site. Any questions you may have can be directed to either Mark Lange or Joshua Echavarria as well.

Instructions for using the FTP site to upload images

The RMA will be issued after the images are retrieved and reviewed.

Although this change could mean that RMA numbers will not be issued immediately, we are committed to evaluating the data and issuing the RMA in a timely manner. Most will be issued the day of the request. Providing complete information will expedite processing and help provide speedy resolution of our RMA issues.
