These courses are offered at Varian's Las Vegas Education Center. Some courses have prerequisities — please read the more detailed course descriptions before registering.
Linatron Technical Maintenance I
This course covers theory of operation, detailed system theory of pulse modulators, microwave power systems, programmable logic controllers, dosimetry systems, vacuum pumps monitoring systems, system concept troubleshooting and customer periodic maintenance of the Linatron M-series product line. Includes 20% hands-on lab time.
Linatron Technical Maintenance II
This course covers detailed system component removal and replacement. Students will perform pulse modulator troubleshooting, microwave power system troubleshooting, programmable logic controller and software troubleshooting, dosimetry systems troubleshooting, vacuum pump troubleshooting, monitoring system troubleshooting, and customer periodic maintenance of the Linatron M-series product line. Includes 75% hands-on lab time.
