BIR 600/450

The BIR 600/450 utilizes a 450 KeV x-ray tube to inspect large objects found in applications such as aluminum and magnesium casting flaw detection and first article inspection. The machine’s tool-grade mechanics create reliable and repeatable large object motion control, which is critical for metrology applications. It is ideal for porosity detection and quantification as well as wall thickness measurements of both internal and external casting surfaces.
