Treatment Delivery, Tracking & Gating

The Novalis Tx™ radiosurgery platform combines power and precision to treat and track patients, and deliver the right dose exactly on target. Precise beam shaping technology paints dose to the tumor shape, eliminating the hot and cold spots typical of the dose delivered from cone-based systems. Meanwhile, powerful gating technology correlates tumor position in relation to the patient’s respiratory cycle to help ensure treatment is spot on.

SRS/SBRS linear accelerator

SRS/SBRS linear accelerator:
delivers dose at 1000 MU/Min with a 6 MV and HighX beam.

HD 120 MLC

HD120MLC:
shapes tumor dose from any treatment position with 120 individually motorized tungsten leafs including 64 – 2.5 mm centrally and 56 – 5 mm peripherally positioned leafs covering an area of 22 cm x 40 cm.

ExacTrac adaptive gating

ExacTrac adaptive gating:
helps ensure excellent agreement between expected and actual implanted marker position.

Real-time Position Management™ (RPM) system

Real-time Position Management™ (RPM) system:
clearly visualizes the target and reduces artifacts associated with respiratory motion so tumor position correlates to the respiratory cycle.
