The Acuity system continues the Varian tradition of innovation by combining advanced 2D and 3D Cone Beam CT (CBCT) imaging techniques and software capabilities to support planning, basic simulation, complex treatment plan verification and brachytherapy in one fully integrated system.

The Acuity planning, simulation and verification system is optimized for intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). Acuity enables clinicians to effectively prepare and verify the patient treatment plan and help improve treatment efficiency.

BrachyTherapy patients can also be planned and treated on the Acuity. This allows the entire process to be done in one room without having to utilize multiple rooms within the department and hospital.

Designed to work alongside CT simulators, Acuity is the most popular verification and simulation system on the market and provides over 300 customers with the advanced features they need to support planning, basic simulation, complex treatment plan verification and brachytherapy.
