System Layout
Varian proton therapy systems are generally installed in specially constructed facilities and customized according to the needs of the clinic.
Multiple configurations and floor plans are available, depending on the number and type of treatment rooms required.
A system consists of:
- A Superconducting Cyclotron and Energy Selection System
- A Beam Transport System
- Rotational Gantry and Horizontal Fixed Beam Treatment Rooms
Since Varian provides a truly integrated, end-to-end proton therapy solution, we play an active role throughout the entire project installation timeline.
