System Quality Engineer
Job Duties:
Our process-oriented application software is used for therapy planning, treatment delivery and managing patient data in radiation oncology. Our emphasis is on clinical imaging, image acquisition and image processing for patient positioning.
Your main function is the verification and validation of systems for clinical use compliant with US-American and European regulation and certification authorities. The function consists of
- Analysis of clinical procedures and market requirements
- Assistance in product requirements engineering like reviews design input / engineering documents for consistency, completeness and clarity of product requirements and design specifications
- Analysis of product risks - technical and clinical Elaboration of product qualification plans
- Development of test specifications
- Performance of tests and compilation of test documentation
Qualifications
- University master degree in engineering, science or information technology
- High level of conceptual thinking
- Careful working habits, good abstraction abilities
- Professional experience in the development of software or embedded software
- Experience in the analysis of complex systems
- Proficient in English and German, spoken and written
- Several years of professional experience in radio-oncology as MTRA/therapy planner
- Technical qualification and interest in the development of clinical systems
Additional assets include
- Advanced knowledge of Windows XP/Windows 7
- Knowledge of MSSQL
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in project management
- Experience in the field of qualification tests and computer-aided software tests
- Previous exposure to FDA/ISO quality system regulations for medical devices
