Varian supports image guided brachytherapy (IGBT) with the Acuity™ BrachyTherapy Suite™.
Acuity™ BrachyTherapy Suite™ integrated IGBT solution
- Combines Varian's Acuity™ treatment planning, simulation and verification system with an HDR afterloader in the same procedure room.
- Enables imaging, including flat panel planar digital images and cone beam CT imaging, to guide the placement of applicators, and help create the treatment plan.
- Allows treatment of the patient without moving the patient between applicator placement, imaging, and treatment delivery steps.
