Respiratory Gating Administration and Operations (for v1.7 ONLY)

Course Scope: The goal of the Respiratory Gating Administration and Operations for v1.7 course is to provide participants with sufficient knowledge of the principles and practice of respiratory gating in radiation oncology for clinical implementation. The Respiratory Gating Administration and Operations course will cover the following topics: rationale for respiratory gating, clinical application of respiratory gating, general overview of respiratory-gated CT simulation, respiration-synchronized conventional simulation and respiratory-gated treatment delivery for both 3D CRT and IMRT. The course will also cover the acceptance test procedures for the Respiratory Gating Administration and Operations and routine QC/QA procedures for respiratory-gated treatment.
