On-Board Imaging Technical Maintenance
Prerequisites: Must have attended Varian's High Energy C TM I and High Energy C TM II courses. One year experience working with Varian high-energy Clinacs. Any exceptions must be approved by the Training Supervisor before enrolling in the course. Enrollment in certain courses is limited to full-time employees of Varian Medical Systems’ (“Varian’s”) customers due to the confidential and proprietary nature of the information provided as part of the course curriculum. Customers may not register part-time employees, contractors or other third parties to attend these courses, even if the individuals seeking registration perform services for the customers. I understand that I am registering for an educational course offered by Varian that is limited to full-time employees of Varian’s customers due to the confidential and proprietary nature of the information provided as part of the course curriculum. By submitting my registration through this automated process, I hereby certify that: 1) I am a full-time employee of the Varian customer listed in my registration materials; 2) I will not use any information or materials I obtain through my attendance at the course to perform services for any facility other than the Varian customer listed in my registration materials (unless I first obtained written permission from Varian to do so); 3) I will ensure that all materials provided to me by Varian as part of the educational course are stored at my employer’s facility and that no copies of them will be made for any purpose.
Course Scope: This is a one-week course. Topics include, but are not limited to, OBI/Clinac interface, CPI 100khz x-ray generator, Paxscan 4030CB amorphous silicon imaging panel, Cone-Beam CT and the Customer Acceptance Procedure (CAP). This course consists of a combination of classroom lectures and labs.
