EIP_IMRT Operations
21.0 credit Category A CE Credits assigned by ASRTWho Should Attend: Dosimetrist, Physicist. EIP_IMRT is the alternative class for Physicist. ASRT and MDCB are available.
Prerequisites: Attendance of Eclipse Operation Course; 2-3 month routine clinical use of Eclipse recommended.
Course Scope: The IMRT course will cover inverse treatment planning with the Eclipse Inverse Planning (EIP) system. The Varian IMRT solution will be presented during the course, including the integrtion into the VARiS/Vision system The entire treatment planning process is covered and demonstrated on typical clinical cases such as prostate, head and neck, brain, etc. Other topics covered are verification plan, data export, contouring for EIP. Part of the training course is reserved for hands-on training
