With this in mind, the Silhouette's design incorporates a striking new look. With its wide variety of artistic panels, advanced noise reduction and compact size, the silhouette provides a more comfortable, patient friendly experience. All this without sacrificing any of the clinical advantages that Varian Clinac® accelerator has been providing for years.

With hospital costs continuing to rise, the Silhouette allows clinicians to provide state of the art technology to their patients without adding costly new therapy vaults. Silhouette's carefully engineered design makes it the ideal choice for healthcare facilities with small room constraints.

The Silhouette cabinet is 30 inches (76.2cm) deep, with easy to access equipment for simple, fast repairs.

Advanced capabilities in a smaller footprint

The Silhouette provides all the advanced applications of Varian's high energy Clinac accelerators, in a smaller footprint. With a reduction of 18 inches (46cm) from isocenter to back wall, the Silhouette fits right into your existing small accelerator or cobalt treatment rooms. Direct access to all system components is available through the six panel doors for immediate serviceability.

Additional enhancements include a smaller modulator and advanced insulation, which reduces noise levels by 50% during beam on state, for a quieter, more comfortable patient experience.

A customised environment

Each Silhouette can be customised with a wide variety of artistic panels to appeal to all patients - young and old. Choose from calming nature scenes, playful graphics, lush photography and more. You can easily change panels to accommodate the changing patient population.
